With his Electronic Engineering background, he was able to assume various roles in the Product Compliance and Certification divisions within the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), which has allowed for his confidence and broad understanding of the industry.

Ares has great expertise in trade compliance, supply chain, logistics and warehousing operations across various markets. He is skilled in organizational leadership and corporate governance. His previous roles included leading a value chain in manufacturing, distribution and supply of electrical products to top retailers across the African continent.

He previously held senior Inspector at the NRCS and then later moved to the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), Isaac has worked with leading LED lighting manufacturers in Europe and Asia for several years
